jamie harding

Jamie is an Executive Director, Producer, Director, Actor, Arts Innovator and one of the nation’s most in demand acting coaches.


As an actor, he has appeared in television, theatre and radio, nationally and internationally and has featured in many of Australia’s major performing arts Festivals. He won the Best Actor award for his role in State Theatre;s production of “The Cripple of Inishmaan” as one of his many awards and stage credits. Screen credits include Firebite (AMC+) Rain Shadow (ABC) McLeod’s Daughters (Channel 7) Changed Forever (Foxtel) just to name a few. He has also performed in many internationally acclaimed comedy clubs & out chased the notorious Chaser boys from ABC hilarious television show “The Chaser’s War on Everything”.


From early in his career, he was attracted to the creation of new performance and from 2011 committed himself to the conception, construction, and performance of his own work that drive’s narrative possibility, integrates digital technology and provides a nurturing environment for artists to create.


Jamie founded and is Artistic Director at Gener8 Theatre a professional theatre collective, which has produced multi–Ruby Award winning shows including hybrid theatre work Color Darker Than Black and the world’s first theatre and virtual reality event of its kind In the Pines. As a result, Jamie was an invited guest panellist at the 2018 Adelaide Film Festival in an industry forum to discuss Virtual Reality writing and creating in immersive media.


From working directly with Jamie, his students impact on the industry have been broad and long lasting. From landing major agents nationally and internationally, starring on major shows including Neighbours and Home & Away to securing full time positions at leading drama schools, securing roles on the world’s leading stages and film and TV projects. Jamie is also graduated with Honours from the Flinders Drama Centre in 2016.
