THE CLASSES ARE DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS THAT ARE COMMITTED TO THE ART FORM ACTING. TWO AUDITION PIECES MUST BE PRESENTED TO TONY KNIGHT TO BE CONSIDERED TO TAKE THE COURSE.

THURSDAYS 7 - 10pm

For acceptance into the course you will need to supply a self tape of a monologue from shakespeare and australian play, movie or tV.
Students are welcome to send their auditions anytime.

COMEDY (STAGE & FILM)
Scene Work - 6th February - 10th April
  • Selected comedy scenes and monologues from classical to modern
  • Auditioning and Performing to camera
  • Voice Work
  • In-House Performance Live and to Camera

AMERICAN (STAGE & FILM)
Scene Work - 1st May - 3rd July
  • Selected works from American playwrights such as Tennesse Williams
  • Voice Work on Accents
  • Test Scenes
  • Live Performance on American Scenes
  • Paired scenes to camera

Term 3

CLASSICAL (STAGE & FILM)
One Act Plays - 24th July - 18th September
  • Selected speeches from the ‘Classical Theatre’
  • Selected scenes from the ‘Classical Theatre’
  • Informal Showing at the end of the term of Classical One Act Plays.
  • Preproduction of film showreel or short film

Term 4

MODERN TEXT & ACTING FOR THE CAMERA
Scene Work - 16th October - 20th November
  • Selected scenes from film and tv scripts and screenplays
  • Self-devised and written scenes for film and tv.
  • Informal Showing at the end of the term of filmed ‘Scene Work’.
  • Filming of showreel or short film
